Should you shut down your computer at night?

This is a debate that's been going on for years.  Kim Komando has some good recommendations here.

Q. Help me settle an argument with my wife, Kim. She says we should shut down the computer every night. I say it's better if we leave it on all the time. Who is right and who is wrong?
